Vitamins and Minerals

On a daily basis the average American only consumes one third the amount of vitamins and minerals needed to maximize healthy development and graceful aging. For those who eat organic and fresh produce, the amount of vitamins and minerals that they consume will increase by one third (in comparison to the normal conventional diet). The amount of vitamins and minerals will also increase as one chooses more dark vegetables and fruits. If you couple eating organic with choosing foods rich in anti-oxidants (dark and brightly colored foods), one can TRIPLE the amount of vitamins and minerals that they intake. It's one way to help maintain a healthier and greener lifestyle.
